What is \"Semana T\u00e1rrega\"?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\u00a0The \u2018T\u00e1rrega Week\u2019 is an international festival organized by the Institute for Musical Development (IDM) with the sponsorship of 'Il\u00b7lm Ajuntament de Vila-real' and the Valencian Institute of Culture, together with the collaboration of various academic and cultural institutions. Its main objective is to promote the figure, the complete concert work and legacy of <\/span>International Congress<\/b>\u00a0from his native land. It is the only festival in the world in which the entire concert compositions of the musician from Vila-Real are performed annually.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Next to the performances of the integral<\/a>, the\u00a0<\/span>guitar masterclasses<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>music masterclass<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>are a fundamental pillar of the Festival. Taught by international concert artists and eminent pedagogues, they are aimed at guitarists and musicians in general from anywhere in the world, who wish to achieve both interpretive excellence and performing excellence. After the excellent reception with great enthusiasm of the previous editions, this year the VI Francisco T\u00e1rrega International Congress takes place, where international conferences, round tables, interviews and interactive talks are held led by experts in the figure of Francisco T\u00e1rrega, classical guitar and musical interpretation.<\/span>

Francisco T\u00e1rrega is a universal reference in global musical culture. His works for guitar are so important that he is considered the \u2018Father of the modern guitar\u2019.
